The player who slapped the ball out of Mayfield's hand after the sack, cost them 24 yards and stopped the clock... he should be cut from the team.
I can't remember seeing so maybe penalties that late in game. Either the Rams were holding, or the Raiders were getting a PI. Or being the Raiders and hitting the ball out of Baker's hands. So stupid.
Just a few weeks ago I was seeing more talk on the teams around them in the standings winning being a good thing for draft position, now this.
It is what it is, I can’t root for them to lose but they’ll likely finish either 7-10 or 8-9 which obviously falls short of the playoffs and also probably a 10-15 range draft pick? Needed to pull out a W in at least 1 of those close losses to the Jets, Dolphins, Patriots (who are all also vying for a playoff spot) if they wanted to sneak in again, just to end up getting blown out by KC or the Bills anyway.
No way, that’s the Raiders ethos to be d-bags. The Miami Canes of the NFL. That dude will likely become team captain.
I don’t think it mattered either way since the Steelers and Raiders play on Christmas Eve.
