Raiders release AB

I hope he is a cancer in the Pats clubhouse but you know he won't be. Can't believe they felt the need to give him 15 mil.

Don’t believe he can help himself . It will only be a matter of time before he blows up and the Pats realize they didn’t make such a smart move after all .

Can't help but think Rosenhaus has some deal ready with some other team for the guy (and by guy I mean Rosenhaus!) to just give up on the dough so easily.

But credit to the GM. The way this was going, if Brown actually got into games and put up good numbers, the bullshit would still continue, but then the Raiders would be more reluctant to get rid of AB. Things would come to a head again. And they'd have to make Mayock the fall guy. Getting this done now saves his own hide. And Gruden may not think so but he should be grateful too.
Credit to the gm?

They gave up draft picks and got nothing as a result.

Yeah great job mayock

That won’t happen, because this was their plan the whole time. AB consulted social media experts on how he could accelerate his release from Oakland (the letter, the video, etc), knowing he had a deal with the Patriots.

And if that doesn’t explain it, look at how NE cut D. Thomas earlier in the week and then resigned him so they could create cap room. Obviously they knew what they were making room for.

Apparently AB sought assistance with figuring out ways to get released from the Raiders. Doubt this breaks any NFL policies but it might explain his fighting the GM and posting internal team communications on social media.

Here you go from article. Clearly a stunt.

Antonio Brown during the week actually sought advice from social media consultants on how he could accelerate his release from the Raiders," ESPN's Chris Mortensen reported on Sunday. "This all started with him releasing the letter from Mike Mayock that he was being fined."

Does that explain driving down McKinght Rd over 100 mph or throwing furniture out a penthouse window or reporting your Rolls missing incident etc ? The man has issues , if you think he’s that smart then your very gullible .
The NFL ignores behavioral issues if you can play . During the Chuck Noll era an unnamed backup ( but talented ) player whose since passed away was constantly getting in off the field scuffles , Chuck calls him in and tells him one more incident and your gone . Well someone got under his skin and the next thing you know he’s no longer a Pgh Steeler . ( he went on to a very long NFL career ) That same team had a star defensive tackle ( Ernie Holmes ) who shot at an Ohio State police helicopter . Is that a double standard ?
AB will freak out just wait .
