This guy would be a huge get. I have seen him play. Big time stat stuffer as a guard in the Sun Belt, which is a decent conference. He reminds me of a slightly smaller Marcus Carr.

My point is though this kid may not be elite, he is very good. And whether elite or very good, these type of kids aren’t going somewhere where there is already a log jam of other players at their position.

You could just as well ask if anyone on the current leftover roster may be sniffing around for other options. Hey, get used to constant recruiting moreso now with the revolving door rosters.

There are needs for sure as we all know. But if a kid is good, can contribute and wants to come to Pitt, with the ships available the answer should be - how soon can you get here?

There’s no such thing as position of need at Pitt right now. They need upgraded talent. If champ comes back they have one position where an upgrade isn’t necessary

I don’t know if we have a true PG on the roster, so I could still see the staff pursuing one.

The back court is also getting crowded though, so it may be hard to recruit another one. Neither of our top 4 guards are proven starters. I’m intrigued with Femi and Burton playing together, but they don’t provide a lot of shooting.

Nike and Horton worry me defensively and ideally come off the bench.
