Pat Narduzzi and the new Pitt coaching staff, but on Sunday he got to see something new about the coaches:

How they work in practice.

"It was very cool, very cool to see," Ford said of his visit to Pitt's spring camp-opening practice on Sunday. "I got to sit in the offensive meeting, and it was neat to see Coach (Jim) Chaney talk. Obviously he's very knowledgeable and it was cool to hear him run the meeting. Then during the o-line meeting, hearing them go over plays and techniques was pretty neat. I liked the way Coach (John) Peterson was; he was really teaching, which I liked.

"I also liked seeing them on the field; that was really cool, seeing how Coach Peterson interacted with the offensive line and how Coach Chaney interacted with all of them and to see Coach (Pat) Narduzzi's energy throughout the whole practice was fantastic."
