When Sean Clifford visited Pitt on Saturday, he thought he would get a chance to see the Panthers in action during their first spring scrimmage.
That happened, but Clifford got a bit more than he expected, as Pat Narduzzi and his staff offered the 2017 quarterback from Cincinnati (Oh.) St. Xavier.
"I was surprised to get the offer; that was a pleasant surprise," Clifford told Panther-Lair.com. "Coach Narduzzi pulled me into his office and offered me."
