In the last couple of months it seems as though the panic over Narduzzi's recruiting, or lack their of, has continued to grow. I even saw a comment on here recently that called Narduzzi "Chryst with a Twitter account". The class rankings have Pitt very low but that is simply because we don't have the sheer number of kids to be ranked highly, yet. If you look at the 2016 recruiting class rationally it is clear to see that HCPN and his staff have put themselves in position to end up with a successful class.
On the defensive side of the ball, Gilbert, Coleman, and Pugh look like they are all strongly considering heading our way, and it looks as though we are in good position for Hamlin and/or George Hill. IMO worst case scenario Pitt should land at least 3 of those 5 kids. That would give us 3 DL, 2 LB, and 4 DB. And a defensive class that could consist of 4 WPIAL kids. Not too shabby.
On offense we already have this class' QB who most agree has the size and tools to be a 4* prospect, he just needs to show it on the field. The top RB (and player) in the state has shown interest in Pitt, plus Moss is committed and Theo Anderson is showing strong interest. An Aaron Matthews commitment would give Pitt two stud WR's in one class. I'll admit the line isn't looking great but a Harper commitment would give Pitt two 3* tackle prospects who both have excellent size.
So in conclusion, the sky isn't falling on Narduzzi, in fact, in just 7 months he has put Pitt in position to have a very good class that is chalk full of WPIAL talent. #H2P
