DePaul Catholic quarterback Ryan Adzima will join Pitt this summer as a walk-on.
Adzima started his high school career at Wallington (NJ) and threw for 3,229 yards and 32 touchdowns as a junior before transferring to DePaul for his senior year. He was looking for more exposure in the transfer - DePaul plays at a higher level - and this past seaso he threw for 1,863 yards and 14 touchdowns and rushed for 215 yards and 5 touchdowns.
Here are his senior highlights.
If nothing else, Adzima provides Pitt with another arm in training camp. The Panthers will have Chad Voytik, Nathan Peterman, Adam Bertke and Ben DiNucci as scholarship quarterbacks and Adzima and Nate Bossory as walk-ons this season.
