Pitt had a number of recruits on hand for Thursday's practice. Here's a rundown on who was there.

- The biggest names were a pair of cousins with a familiar name: Charlotte (NC) South Mecklenburg defensive end Mark Gilbert.

As has been mentioned a few times, Zack Gilbert is the son of former Pitt star and NFL first-round pick Sean Gilbert, while Mark Gilbert is Zack's cousin. Both Gilberts are also cousins with current Pitt safety Reggie Mitchell, former Pitt standout Darrelle Revis and incoming freshman cornerback Jordan Whitehead. Whitehead was at Pitt's practice on Thursday and spent a lot of time with both Gilberts.

Zack Gilbert was very positive about his visit when he offered some reactions via text message to Panther-Lair.com, commenting several times that he enjoyed the experience at Pitt quite a bit, and Mark Gilbert said that the visit was "great." Panther-Lair.com will have more from both Gilberts.

- Two days after a slew of players from Martin Luther King High School visited Pitt, Detroit was in the house again on Thursday. This time the group included Harper Woods (Mich.) Chandler Park receiver highlight film).

- Another out-of-state visitor was 2017 Middletown (Del.) St. George's Tech running back high highlights.

- There were some local recruits at Thursday's practice, too. Charleroi tight end junior highlights.

- A trio of Gateway recruits visited Thursday as well: 2016 receiver highlight film).

- Also, 2015 Pitt QB recruit Ben DiNucci was at practice, as was QB transfer Nathan Peterman, who is spending the weekend in Pittsburgh.
