Had to sift through a number of obituary articles on the web to find one that mentioned his role as coach of the Penguins during the early days of the franchise. (The sport had yet to really catch on in Pittsburgh.)

Columbus had a moment of silence in honor of Red Kelly prior to it's Stanley Cup playoff game tonight against Boston.
