Refs just did a recount

How do they re-review a review and overturn a TD?

I think the real question is how did they miss the fact that his lower leg drug across the ground before he got into the end zone in the first place? That should have been one of those easy, 15 second reviews. And instead they had to review it twice and take five minutes to get it right.

In many cases replay - as a 2 dimensional medium - is a guessing game when reality is 3 dimensional. But I suppose it helps to keep the gamblers happy? Or not?

It's ND at home and they wanted to give Tirico more time to slobber over Ian Book.

The amount of replay reviews at the end of the game killed so much of the excitement.

speaking of refs...maybe someone can clear this up for me as it makes no sense...Clemson with a little over 2 minutes to play runs a play on second down for a loss...holding penalty is called...after much discussion the penalty is declined...the clock is stopped at 2 minutes. ball set ready for play but clock does not run and notre dame not forced to call a timeout...wtf??

Replay in college football sucks for a few reasons.

first, they often get it wrong anyways

second, because there is replay, the refs let plays go, so then the “play on the field” may not even be right they just let it go cause they know It will be replayed. But then the replay has to be overly clear for a reversal. So often they keep a play that the refs if calling it real woulda changed to start with
