Nice win for Pitt to overcome a slow start and some poor officiating.

Can’t believe how many times Pitt defenders had the arms straight up under the basket and northwestern players jumped into them creating contact and getting the foul. I don’t know what more the players could do other than backing away to give a free shot

Pitt got basically no calls when they were the ones driving to the hoop either. That crew was brutal when dealing with calls in the paint.

They were completely awful. They were calling fouls on Pitt 25 feet from the basket and nothing on them when we drove the lane.

It was 12 fouls to 4 at one point in the second half. They were shooting fouls shots with over 13:00 left in the second half. We didn’t start shooting them until 4 minutes left in the game.

Ha ha. I blame Pitt for the first half shooting. But the refs were awful.
