I would not be surprised in the least if Crean is hired. Pitt saves some money because IU is picking up some of the tab. His wife graduated from Pitt. He coached here under Willard. He coached against Pitt when the Pete was rocking, so he knows you can win here.

He wouldn’t be my first pick, but he would get us to around the middle of the pack in the ACC. He was handed the Kelvin Sampson mess at IU, and did a decent job.

If stallings is fired so quickly there's no way Pitt is hiring a middle aged guy with an average resume again. I'd bet the house that they hire a head coach at a mid major or an assistant coach from a P5 or big east school.
