the flow of the board has been really great this year. Not as much arguing and such great job everyone. So, I don't want this thread to bring the tone down. Let's just be adults here.
Many posters including me thought the previous staff should have offered terry Swanson over Dennis Briggs. Thinking the debate was over I didn't spend much time thinking of it. Then when it was announced Dennis Briggs would be our nickel back several posters took that opportunity to pat themselves on the back and announce how stupid some posters were and how smart they were.
Since then, Dennis Briggs has been a solid but unspectacular member of the football team. By my count playing in 3 games tallying 3 tackles 1 of which was sack?? During that same time terry Swanson has been a major cog in toledos successful season. After not playing essentially in their first 3 games Swanson has tore it up. Averaging over 125 yards and game and over 7 yards per carry.
It appears this debate will live on! Very happy to have Briggs but Swanson and Henry would have been nice as well. Anyway good to see local kids doing well.
