I think both of them were probably in the wrong but benefitted from each other.
Pitt likely still brings in Slovis and retains Addison and has an even better year than 9-3.
Can they go and get another transfer QB (Leary or Uiagalelei) or Slovis stays another year? Or they can recruit a really good HS QB? Maybe they bring in a WR like Keon Coleman to play in that offense.
