There isn't usually a lot of good to come from this, but I am doing it because my bold prediction has a real shot of hitting.

Before the season, my bold prediction was that Mo Gueye would average two blocks per game - something that has only happened 11 times at Pitt and not since Steven Adams 9 years ago. Right now, with 6 regular-season games to play, Gueye has 55 blocks in 25 games. Granted, getting 8 blocks the other night helped boost those numbers and probably isn't something to count on, but that performance put him on the right side of the ledger for averaging 2 per game.

As for win totals, Matt, Jim, Houston, Steve and I are all still in the mix. Steve picked Pitt to win 9, so he needs a lose-out to be right. Houston picked 10, so he's on the verge. Jim and I picked 12 wins and Matt, ever the optimist, went with 13.

But mostly I'm reposting this for the Gueye prediction.
