RIP Moses Malone

Dawkins and Malone pass away. Tough week for former NBA big men.

Malone was at one time property of the Trail Blazers, who shipped him just before Walton's feet starting breaking. Back then teams weren't very patient. Losing Walton and Malone cost Portand titles in 1977-78 and 1978-79, the two worst champions the NBA ever produced.

The '77 Trail Blazers were the last NBA team I was a fan of. Totally lost interest in pro ball after that but that team played the game the way it was supposed to be played. Also loved the '67 '76ers and the '70 Knicks.

What was wrong with the Magic Lakers, and the Bird Celtics?? They played the game right.

By that time I no longer watched NBA hoops. And I also always hated the Celtics which was tough because Larry Bird was one of my all time favorites.

Magic Johnson was the best all time IMHO. In all these years there has never been anyone else like him. Think about it, a 6 foot 8 point point guard that could move and play defense like he did., not to mention his passing and ball handling.
