This marks the 15 year anniversary of Ron Cook's overt attempt to undermine Larry Fitzgerald's Heisman candidacy by voting for and advocating for Oklahoma's White. It was an intentional move as Cook and his PSU comrades did not want to see a Pitt man win the Heisman only two years after Pitt shut out PSU.
