Rooting Guide, all days

Why would we root for Arkansas St. over JMU when JMU is a possible bid stealer? That makes no sense. We need JMU to win just in case the committee totally loses their minds and puts them in based on the JMU’s win over Michigan State.

There is no chance what so ever that if James Madison loses to Arkansas State that they are going to get into the tournament anyway.

Yep, this was a must win for JMU or they weren’t getting in. Samford was in the same boat as well.

Gun to head I don’t think Indiana St makes it. Not as sure about it as some are, but in the end a couple P6 bubble teams will win opening round games and by the time Sunday rolls around it will seem like Indiana St hasn’t played in forever.

It may be because JMU played both Miss St and Michigan St, two bubble teams.

JMU, Zags and Saint Mary’s all won. Good for Pitt and bubble teams.

every game went our way last night, maybe our OOC SOS will tick up a few. This is a very helpful site but primarily looks at your team's ranking. For example JMU winning likely eliminated a potential bid stealer in the SOCON but showed upas a negative because JMU is near us in rankings. Had it been any other game than the conference championship it would have made sense.

anyone have a clue why we would be rooting for 15-16 Davidson over 12-19 Fordham? We played neither of these teams and neither is close tot he bubble

Davidson gonna lose but here goes. They played Clemson whereas Fordham played no ACC teams. The minuscule amount a Davidson win would make the Clemson win over them look better helps our conference as a whole.

It says we should root for Pitt. Did you read it wrong?

Also... it says we should root for FAU to lose. That's wrong. We definitely want FAU to win.
It must have refreshed. At 8:25 this morning it said UNC. Site is garbage anyway. Thanks
