@BballinsiderfromPitt. I saw he dropped 47 on PR last week. Is this kid a legit P5 starter at some point? Is he just dominating bad competition? Looks a little skinny. Does he have the handle/shot for high D1?

He’s a 5 right now. He’s rated a little too highly imo. PR essentially played 6’1 guys on him and couldn’t handle him. He does have a surprisingly nice handle/shot considering he doesn’t get to use it much. When he was down at WVU’s open gym towards the end of summer (along with 6-7 other potential D1 Western Pa dudes) he was the only one who held their own playing against the older guys.
I highly doubt from the talk I’ve had with him and stuff I’ve heard from others he will finish his career at North Hills. Which will be best for his development. Right now I’d say he’s an A10 center but if he can develop into more of a 4 he’ll be a legit HM kid
is this the guy that is a psu lean? i think i asked about him a few weeks back and a few posters said his parents were psu alums and he is a big time psu lean. unless im thinking of another wpial player.
Maleek Thomas brother plays at North Hills, so I assume they live in the district. Imagine North Hills with both Parham and Maleek. That would have been interesting.
The 4A class is just so stacked!!! And they moved up New Castle and Mars. But Highlands is unranked. In 4A. They have two losses. 1 point to #1 5A Penn Hills and to Hampton at the time the whole community was in zombie land after the police shootings. Highlands just beat North Hills by 17. They have beaten Allderdice, Shady Side, Pine Richland, Shaler, Deer Lakes, Canevin, and none of them were close. They are routinely doubling up teams. Yet they are not ranked.
This classification is so stacked. And again, it is not like Highlands is some wannabe, they won 4A in 2019, and are always battling New Castle, Hampton, Mars, etc....
They get Hampton again tomorrow. Should be interesting. With those two, Lincoln Prep, Laurel Highlands, Uniontown, it is so loaded, and New Castle and Mars could be playing here. By far the best classification in the WPIAL.
