Need to go 2-2 in the next 4 or we are hosting Penn State in the NIT. There is the chance that if we beat Duke, we can lose the last 3 but I wouldn't want to take that chance.
If this team wants to make the NCAAT, all it has to do is win a road game against an NIT team and a neutral site game vs an NIT team. Not asking a lot, really.

Penn state won't make the NIT.
The NIT requires a above .500 record. PSU is 14-14 with only one likely win left.
Only if they have 1 or 2 upset wins.
In any case, there are more than 32 teams ahead of them on the NIT bubble. Many more.
Their RPI is 108. If they win 3 or more games the rest of the way then they could slide in. This includes the Big 10 tournament.
I dont disagree.
I just don't see 3 more wins on their schedule.

Looks like 16-16 at best to me. Slight chance of 17-15. But not sure that breaks into the NIT field.
