Flowers' tape is pretty damn impressive in a lot of ways. However, in my eyes, the best attribute that he has is his physicality and aggression, seemingly two traits that most Narduzzi-recruits have had in spades (of the little we've seen). Flowers obviously blocks well, but even more importantly, it appears as if he plays 'angry', something very few WRs possess. I know it'll be common to comp him to a Baldwin or some other tall WR, but I think he reminds me of a taller Anquan Boldin. The latter may not be a burner, but he's tough, he catches the ball, and he blocks well in the running game. The latter is often underrated. It's shouldn't be, especially in our presumably balanced attack.

This commitment came out of nowhere, at least to me. The more I look at it, the more I like it. I'm not sure he'll end up being the downfield threat we are searching for, but I'm reasonably optimistic that Pitt will be happy with the result regardless.
