Safely In According to...

Look at the time and date on that bracket, it is BEFORE today's game. The GT loss is NOT included in that bracketology.

Good point, although even after the loss, I don't think Lunardi has us in last four in. Regardless, we just need to win on Wednesday and we should have little to worry about.

Lose, and we get what we deserve.

Our best advantage is that the bubble is the softest it's been in a long time. Even with all the metrics on a downward swing we are in a good position. But we have to beat Syracuse to lock it in. If not we will be 4-8 in last 12 games and that's NIT like.

Yea are RPI went from 41 down to 55 after the loss yesterday which is right in that danger zone of not making it. I won't say we definitely will be out with a loss against Cuse Wednesday but if we are then so be it. Pitt gets what they deserve. I still think a win gets them in the tournament safely probably as a 9,10,or 11 seed and we avoid Dayton. Good news is Jamie tends to do well against Boeheim and that zone so it's a favorable matchup for Pitt.

Both lunardi and palm have us holding down the 9th seed in the east after today's updates so I think even if we lose to Syracuse we still end up in Dayton for a playin game.

Still an 8/9 seed this morning on both Palm and Lunardi and Bracket Matrix. Palm doesn't have Pitt in his bubble watch this morning either.
