Pitt received four Pat Signals in the past two days. One on Friday night, and three earlier today. Of those four, two have announced commitments.
The first to announce was the Friday commitment, Virginia ATH Emmanuel Taylor. He is listed as a wide receiver, but Ryan Manalac is his primary recruiter, suggesting he's probably coming in to play linebacker. I'm set to speak to him this evening to learn more.
The second commit to announce was Torian Chester, a massive 6-5 320 pound OLinemen from Georgia. He was a more recent offer made by Darveau back on June 2nd and he committed 20 days later. We're also set to catch up later.
Obviously two more need to announce. We believe that to be Georgia RB Synkwan Smith and Florida WR Kha'leal Sterling. Please try and keep that here, of course.
Mason Alexander, a four-star CB from Indiana suggested he has come to a decision. He isn't one of the four Pat Signals, but it's still noteworthy he's going into decision mode and Pitt was his final visit. Purdue is the competition, and they are obviously much closer.
