Even Mike Blue & White couldn’t deny what a year the kid had.

I know he committed early but I can’t believe he didn’t have more big offers. He is going to be the real deal. PN, Sanders & Partridge…credit to all 3 for getting this talented and humble young man.

Other teams realized he is not a drama queen looking to be pampered and knew he wanted to be a Panther. I know we recruited him as a DL but every time I see him play I see an OG or C!

How does he compare to Devin Danielson? I kind of expected a little more from Danielson at Pitt after how dominant he looked in HS. He has been a solid player for us, just not a lot of burst. I’d gladly take Fitzsimmons giving us similar level play, but would be great if he’s even better.

This kid is really quick. I’m not sure he is a guy you want gaining a lot of weight and plugging up the middle. I think you keep him around 280 and let him use his quickness to beat the Ol men.

IMO Fitz has a lot more upside because of his quickness off the ball that Danielson doesn’t have.

Undersized but quick off the ball and strong at the point of attack. That's becoming a prototype for a Pitt DT
