Kenny has shown a us that he’s tough, has ample arm, has gotten 1,000 x better at sensing the rush and keeping his eyes down field. Finding DBJ on the sideline was my favorite throw, it’s one of the few times this season Kenny hit a guy in stride going vertical. Would love to see some touch on a few passes.
The starting WR’s lack explosion as demonstrated by the inability to turn plays upfield. We thought getting the ball to Ffrench and Mack in space was a lock, PSU closed on them every time.
OL is completely useless running the ball. Markedly better in Pass Pro.
As much as you want to criticize the RB’s their biggest sin is pass protection.
TE’s, I have to acknowledge Gragg and Griffin Stewart for some receptions. The blocking miscues are so costly and Pitt can’t be good if this persists.
Kicking - I do wonder if Kessman is physically sound. The 19 yarder and the “plant foot” issue. His kickoffs seem like they not going as deep anymore.
I can’t find any faults with the defense, slipping or missing an occasional tackle is going to happen.
I don’t think we can address the run blocking enough in one week to have an offense to run with UCF. They have speed everywhere.
My new goal for this team, win 5 more regular season games, probably Delaware, Duke, GT, VT and BC. Then, win a bowl game. Stretch goal, add in UNC as a W. We have to be able to run the ball.
