The school investigated and found no evidence of a Title IX violation. I'm not sure if there's anything civil or criminal also going on; I'd guess not.
On an editorial note, I hate when shit like this happens. It's completely unfair to Golden and his family, and I would also guarantee every single one of you knows multiple women who were legitimately sexually assaulted or harassed, and situations like this only make it harder for them to come forward. And before someone jumps on my back, I'm not saying everyone accused is guilty until proven innocent, either. It just makes what should be a relatively cut-and-dry situation so toxic and unnecessary and avoidable.
