This is the time of year where entire coaching staffs become free agents. There are good coaches on unsuccessful coaching staffs and guys who have earned a shot at a more prestigious job. So my question is who would you fire and what coaches would make your short list to interview?
For me the obvious firing is Watson at OC. We sort of found a niche offense with the power running game, but we had no answer for any school that could penetrate our OL Clemson blitzed their LB's and dropped their DE's and we responded like the "coaching for dummies" book said, and we threw the "safe" pass to the flat. That was exactly what the DC for Clemson was prepared for, and their DB's ran downhill to make the TFL. We made no adjustment. The shuttle pass up the middle that Canada love would probably have worked but our OC apparently didn't remember that play.
