Sigh. Ok ill say it. #PonyUp

Jennings is awful. Dude is choking big time

with even OK Qb play SMU should be up 14-0. He’s single handedly winning the game for UPs

Our defense made SMU look like the 2019 LSU Tigers, but today Kevin Jennings doesn't look like a D1 QB. We badly need defensive line help.
Our defense makes a lot of teams look better than they are. BC’s offense was terrible this year. Virginia couldn’t do anything except when they played us. Even against WVU and Cinci it was a lot of their own unforced errors that kept us in the games.

We can also look back over the years and it isn’t like this defense consistently stops anyone. Outside of the UNC and Wake games in 2021 it mostly took the offense to put up big numbers to win the games.

Narduzzi will never change his defensive philosophy so it is what it is.

Baaaad decision to go for it on that 4th. Give it to pau midfield with plenty of time to go up 4 scores

I liked the decision. This isn't college basketball, where you're playing for style points. Plus it should have been a touchdown except for the fact that Jennings is playing true to his offer sheet today.

Virginia didn't do much against Pitt. They won 24-19 and their last TD was a 20 yd drive set up by a Pitt INT.

UVA ranked a 121 in total defense and 103 in scoring defense.

That game was on the offense.

Tough to make an argument for more than one ACC team going forward. The talent gap is noticeable. There is no doubt that Alabama or South Carolina would put up a better showing than Indian or SMU has.

Theres just a big difference to me in getting the ball to start the 2nd half down 21 rather than 28. Im not at all opposed to being aggressive but that wasnt the spot imo.

I don’t think there was any chance they were going to outscore Penn State by 21 in the second half. If they'd have made the deficit 14 they might have had like a 5% chance. It's definitely 0 now, but it was pretty close to 0 if it was 21 also.

PSU hatred aside, did anyone actually believe SMU had any chance in this thing?

Definitely minimal shot to do it, but weird stuff happens in college football man. The thing about it is smu has moved the ball and their defense had only given up 7 at that point. Whatever, its a rout and we'll probably be waiting til 8pm for a competutive game today

It would be a pretty close game without Jennings playing like Steve Urkel locked him in a closet before kickoff and is currently assuming his identity.
I don’t think so. Have you paid attention to what’s happening along the lines of scrimmage in this game?

It’s varsity versus freshmen. PSU is a decidedly mediocre and unimaginative offensive team but their personnel are so superior to SMU’s mid-major roster it’s not even close.
