Of course he signs. All of you guys who think he isn’t going to sign here are nuts.

Any chance he actually enrolls? Capel holds him to the signing and forces him to lose a year, right.
One of the main reasons he chose Pitt was to build something instead of join something already built.
Why you so down on him signing recently?
Because we're a dumpster fire. Suspensions, defections, arrests, 0 wins in the foreseeable future. I have no inside information, but I'd be extremely surprised if he doesn't reopen his recruitment and soon.
Nice to know that in 4.5 years Capel has built absolutely nothing except an embarrassment of a program and coaching staff.

No, he did not hear anything. He will be signing here and he knew what he committed to when he verballed. He will be here and help to the turnaround.

Diversity is listed as a goal in virtually every University in our land, nothing is wrong with the concept, if you are unaware of it you must be living under a rock. In general, Affirmative action removes barriers that excludes groups that fail to perform as a whole on the traditional indicators(if the indicators are reliable or not is another discussion) The Head Coach has failed (and we assume will not this year) to achieve a .500 record in conference play after 4 years. Do you have a problem with ensuring that Pitt's first black(or person of color)Head Basketball Coach be afforded the "benefit of the doubt" to put he program in place as he sees fit? Would you consider that to be a negative for Pitt?

Yes, I am talking about this current coaching situation, and yes I do not like it at all, but as I hopefully alluded to, there are far more important reason to be very confident that University get this "right" if and when its time to move on. Any moron can see that, and this one has.

Do you really think we have the balls to actually fire him this year? From an obvious perspective I think he has to go but I don’t know that Pitt/HL has it in them.
The problem seems to be that the staff is so arrogant they see nothing to recover from. I get the feeling HCJC sees Pitt as such an inferior place to Duke that he doesn't sell it, only sells himself, like that stupid tweet about seeing who would grab a hammer....
Right now I think there are alot of people who would like hammers to tear the BB house down.
