I propose that on September 10th PITT fans make a powerful statement by remaining silent when Penn State is on offense. How many more children had their lives destroyed while these men looked on and remained silent?

I propose we reject your proposal and make more noise than humanly possible on every Nitter possession! Its a home game!
If you want to protest find another worthless cause on another day there's lots of them out there!

Do the exact opposite, because when Pitt is on offense, State Farm will be on defense, and that was Sandusky's side of the ball.

In no way shape or form should any Pitt fan do anything or say anything to the players on the field.

This isn't about them. The enabling administration and apologist fan base is another story.

Pitt very much should have a moment of silence for the victims of child abuse.

And then what? Will portions of the day's proceeds go towards a charity related to child abuse? Will Pitt fans start fundraising for human trafficking? What do you propose Pitt and Pitt fans actually do?

A moment of silence is nice, sure, but it's once again all in service of making a point during a rivalry game.

Completely agree. We should have a 50/50 raffle for the victims that day as well.

The players are innocent but they did choose to represent this University and was a tacit acceptance of their handling of the situation. Some, like Dorian Johnson, didn't want to associate with such an institution. These players, though innocent, should not be singled out but they need to understand who they represent.
