Duke's QB is questionable for the game against PITT on Saturday. He's an excellent QB in their system; big loss if he is not able to go.

Duke quarterback Thomas Sirk is listed as questionable for the game against Pittsburgh on Saturday with an upper body injury. He was hurt last week against North Carolina. Backup Parker Boehme has gotten increased reps this week. A determination on whether Sirk will play will be made Friday or Saturday morning

He's gonna be very tough for Pitt to defend. If he doesn't play, I think we blow them out.

Sirk is a FB playing QB trying to be a TB. He-s a beast. That said, I've seen Duke bring in their backup in short yardage keeper situations. WTF is up with that? Sirk is a monster. So, I guess their backup can also do the spread keeper thing as well.

I listened to one of their games recently (I think against V Tech, not sure who the broadcast it was) and the announcers said they do it as some sort of training for the backup.

If psu was playing Duke which QB would he prepare for, since he only prepares for one of them and not effectively I might add

Pitt needs to blitz him out of the game. Force him to make quick decisions and accurate throws while hurt.

They would also piss and moan about not getting a bye week despite playing only their 3rd away game ...

I'm just hoping that PITT can get lined up properly, even in their base defense, against the pace that Duke likes to operate at on offense. Getting pressure and keeping contain on the QB, no matter who it is, will be huge in this game. It's certainly not his arm that should scare the defense, but what he does when the play breaks down.
