I had to work last night so I only caught the 1st and quarter and half of the second. Thankfully I wasn't able to watch or pay attention. I had a feeling that when the punter muffed that hold on the missed fg this night may not be Pitt's. When he muffed the punt, I thought the game was over.

Onto Ga Tech. The option. Pitt and most teams don't defend the option to well. The elite teams can because they have the talent, speed and discipline to do so. Ga Tech lost on the road last week to a S. Florida team that isn't a world beater. They did score points and again are a crazy rushed based running team. 429 ypg over 2 games.

This now is the most important game of the season. It is winnable and last nights abortion needs to be a complete afterthought right now to the players. If Pitt loses next week, this season is gone. No one should have any optimism that Narduzzi will be able to handle Fedora the following week in Chapel Hill then after that it's @ UCF. I think a Ga Tech loss and 3-9 could be likely or even worse?
