9-1 in first of 4 games at ACC/Big 10 challenge over Nebraska. Play Nebraska this am and Northwestern tonight and tomorrow am. Nebraska was ranked to start the season and NW has made NCAA tourney the last 3 years.

Technically I believe they were receiving votes but not in either of the top 25s that I saw. They also went 0-4 last weekend, albeit against some very good competition.

Nebraska's first four batters all got hits. Two runs in, two on, no one out. And for the rest of that inning and the next five Brittany Knight gave up no runs on two hits with two strikeouts and no walks. That's digging a hole and then climbing right out of it.

The evening game is 1-0 Northwestern in the bottom of the 5th.

Just beat Northwestern in 8 innings. Pitt tied the game up in the bottom of the 7th and scored the winner in the bottom of the 8th.

Northwestern only had one hit. They got a single with a runner who had walked on second in the first inning to score their run. They didn't get another hit all game

Kayla Harris had a 1 hitter. Pitt tied it on bottom of 7th with a Kaitlyn Manuel double and won it in bottom of 8th with a walk off double by Zeremenko. They are playing really well right now.

Yes, lost to BYU, Oklahoma, Auburn and Washington. 3 of them were ranked and Okla and Auburn were # 1 and 2.
