Solving Pitt's Attendance Problems....

I personally wonder about how much water they use but as long as I don't get splash back, I really don't have a problem. Honestly never thought about it much until this thread came along.
So before Heinz opened officially, they had this closed Invite for season ticket holders to come check it out. I was dating this girl who was doing an internship for some marketing company, anyways she was asked to go to this and do a quick questionnaire to the people. 5 questions, what do you think about Heinz, biggest plusses, biggest negatives, etc. So I told her i'd help her out, basically I just wanted to see Heinz myself..

Long story short, the biggest complaints were "seats were too bright lol" and the second, and this came from every older guy, they were really upset about the troughs in the bathroom. It was weird. it really seems like older guys don't like urinating in troughs. is it difficult? Privacy issues? Sanitary? I have no clue.

Personally, I prefer them cause they speed up the process IMO. more people can go, thus decreasing wait time..

Interesting and kind of funny.

Does anyone remember what kind of arrangements the old Pitt stadium had? I seriously cannot recall.

definitely a trough. I remember because the '98 game against Akron or kent state (Forget which one), it was so rainy and cold, I actually hung out in the bathroom to keep warm during halftime....

Seriously, there's no "attendance problem" for Pitt or all the many many others that don't draw well. All the money is from TV and conferences and sponsors. Attendance proceeds are a blip.

Actually 40000+ per game is MONSTER attendance, considering that the Steelers are GODZILLA and Pitt is NEMO, it's a town with 300,000 people maybe less, getting 40k to see Pitt and 60k the next day for the Steelers, sometimes with 15k at the Pens or Pirates, that is a large chunk of people inside football stadiums.
