Some of you guys on here just do not want to accept reality. SAME OL' PITT FOR 35 YEARS

All the Peterman love today, when it mattered he couldn't throw the ball downfield on numerous 3rd and shorts the whole 4th quarter. Narduzzi blew all 3 timeouts inexplicably way too early. Canada and his 4th quarter playcalling was as about as conservative and pathetic as you can imagine.

Can't hold a freaking 13 point lead with 5 minutes left. It never changes.

SMF posted Pitt was a 97.3% favorite to win the game early in the 4th. For most any other team that's a given but not with the Pitt Panthers. Just another in a long list of games that make you depressed to be a Pitt fan. And it wasn't the least bit shocking. You wanna run up the middle the whole 4th down knowing we have 1 of the worst secondary's in college football?? Congrats: another loss.

Poker, i hate to agree with you, but that is 100 percent correct. Doesn't matter who the coach is, its just our DNA. And we wonder why we can't get any big time commits. It is so hard to be a Pitt fan! I was going to get a good laugh out of everybody's beloved ND losing to Duke today, but we are worse, choking a game away like that when there were numerous chances to ice the game away in the 4th Q.

And a special honorable mention to UPitt89 who was on me the whole game for even thinking that Pitt would blow this game. He's definitely a fan but still doesn't want to accept reality. This is Pitt, 35 years of heartbreak for fans. They find more ways to lose than I could ever fathom. 59 yard field goals, 21 point leads for the Big East Title, the Houston debacle, etc... And that's just scratching the surface.

Revel in it? I'm disgusted by it. I set aside 3-4 hours every Pitt game hoping I see something to get me excited but unfortunately every year it's the same garbage.
