Knight - this could be a perfect situation for him. Build on his recruiting chops, which it appear he has many if he can recruit to Rutgers, and possibly position himself as a coach in waiting if Capel leaves down the road.
Current players - I would tell them to give Capel a year. They can always transfer next year or stay one more and become a grad transfer. This will give him a chance to evaluate in person as well.
