I agree. Why would anyone with better options choose Pitt? Capel is a proven loser. Watching the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result is the definition of insanity. Pitt will never make a tournament with Jeff Capel and this staff. It's criminal what he gets paid.

Vin Pastore is telling every writer the same thing, so I wouldn’t read into it too much. He is not without a reputation for attention. He didn’t even get the injury correct as it was an Achilles and not an ACL. An ACL is almost routine but as any one who has had a serious Achilles
injury can tell you, it’s absolute Hell to come back from.

I do think he’d be a nice fit next to Hugley and stretch the floor a bit like Gueye did. Everyone who is after him has minutes available so I hope we have another angle to play

He just left a school where his role, as a backup, was playing beside an elite big so I’m not sure if that is a plus or minus for us. Georgetown has a developing big man in Mutombo so I would imagine it would be a similar role there. WV could be a problem as they lost so many guys up front and he could slot in as a 4 or 5. From every indication, he’s looking for the most minutes/biggest opportunity so we’ll see how it shakes out
