When I watch film of players Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, etc...I think what if this kid played in a Pittsburgh HS. As much as I want every WPIAL star, I think the film shows these southern players, who may not have big enough ratings or offer sheet for some posters, would be big time recruits in the north. It's a bigger pool of talent vs better competition. Kids are playing year round football and baseball.
As long as Burgh HS kids, parents, coaches and media don't give Pitt the respect of other nearby universities, I'm all on board with the staff heading south.
