Spring game and 2 WPIAL kids

I have to say that I am very plaeased to see that Paris Ford and Trey Tipton appear to have captured important roles on the team this year. We all knew Paris had talent and wanted to see him on the field. Apparently, he has seen the light and put time in in the film room and the weight room. I am hoping he stays strong and healthy this year, because I always knew he could be an impact player. If he becomes a confident player, he can dominate at this level.

As for Trey, well we all have heard what type of character this young man has. That said, we have not seen him healthy over the years, and thusly haven't seen him in a Pitt uniform nearly enough. I am a little biased in the fact that he went to my home highschool of Apollo-Ridge. However, Trey has lots of talent and has shown flashes before. If he stays healthy, he will have a nice year.

I am glad to see these two have a nice spring game. Maybe these two can be leaders on their respective sides of the ball. It would be nice to see these Wpial kids get it going. Perhaps it could spark some renewed interest in the Panthers from some of the local talent. Even if it doesn't, it would be sweet to see these two locals excel and lead the Panthers back to the ACC title game. 2 title games back to back would certainly mean progress, and that is what we are all hoping for.

I am a little biased

I am biased to, not that I am from there but from time to time when I am in an area because of work I get to see kids play in high school and Trey was impressive when I saw him in person, then it turns out he goes to Pitt and he is a man of real high character. My predictions on here that "this is his year" never came to fruition so by now I am just rooting for him to be able to have a solid year of college ball, that would be really great for him.
