Hey Everyone,

First time poster here. I was thinking, is it ridiculous for Pitt to play their home games at PNC instead of Heinz. PNC maxes out at about 40,000 and that's about average for Pitt games. We could play the bigger games at Heinz. I haven't seen anyone mention this before and wondered if this idea was feasible at all.

When has Bob Nutting ever went out of his way to help anyone or anything but his own pockets?

The Pirates aren't going to play road games every weekend in September.

There is a football field on the North Shore. Just keep using that one.

Yes, it's ridiculous.

no worries. We have a poster that broke the news that a new stadium will be built where the OC lot is. Sounds final, expect an announcement any day now.

NTOP's reply is the only one needed here.

That's a damn near moronic idea on so many levels.

Clearly you don't dine where those in the know do. Maybe we need Z3 to hang out at Capitol Grille for the next round of details.

That's a pretty spectacularly bad idea and I don't think anyone would want that. Not the Pirates, not the Steelers, not the SEA, and certainly not the University of Pittsburgh.

in all seriousness, there was talk about this global sports venue architectural company hired by pitt.. so we've learned that a new football stadium wasn't on the plans but like our leader CP said, you don't hire this type of company to build a track. Some possibilities for grand plans, non football related but still within the athletic dept.. That's potentially exciting news..

Would LOVE to get some inside info on those meetings.
