Ah, but in a way they do. When I used to look at their board to laugh at them denying the programs connection to Sandusky, many said they quit getting season tickets because the cost had gone so high, and the quality of opponents had declined.
Many said they just go to the one or two good games a year, buying single game tickets on Stubhub or in the parking lot. The other games aren't worth going to, and even if they have to pay a premium for an Ohio State type game, they still save a fortune by avoiding STEP and season tickets.
