I feel largely the same and despise the Steelers and a good portion of the fanbase, but you have the wrong take on this. It's better to root for them to keep on doing what they've been doing for a decade. Slightly above .500 every year with no chance to win when it matters. That hurts the franchise more than some terrible seasons here and there. Plus, a lot of fans love to beat their chest about that meaningless 'streak', which is unbelievable to me. When I was in Pittsburgh in the early 2000's, it was a "Super Bowl or failure" mindset. I'm shocked at how expectations have changed for so many.
