Looking at last year's game log, Sterling Smith had the following games vs better competition:
after a slow start vs. Oregon and Illinois (0 and 2pts), he got it going:
12 pts 4-7 3pa vs. ND
12 pts 2-8 3pa vs. UConn
11 pts 2-5 3pa vs. Michigan
14 pts 2-6 3pa vs. E Michigan
22 pts 4-8 3pa vs. Evansville
16 pts 1-6 3pa vs. Akron
he put up some big numbers vs MEAC competition during conference play.
It seems reasonable to project he can score 8-10 pts and 2-3 3P fgs per game next season for Pitt.
Hopefully he's really 6-4 and is at least average defensively.
If he can produce that he'd fill a pretty big need for next year's team.
