The losses have been rough but this team is still 5-3 in conference play including 2 road wins against RPI top 50 teams.
For me it comes down to more consistent guard play. Robinson, Smith, Wilson and even Jones have shown they can play but have been really inconsistent. And last night they were all bad at once.
Splitting this road trip is fine. Road wins are tough to come by. Splitting the next 4 is important too. This team is a 10-8/11-7 team. That should be good enough to get back to the dance and get this program back on track with a solid class coming in next year.
