A lot has been made this year and over the years regarding Pitt's non-conference schedule. The truth is it is WAY better than most think. There is a guy on Twitter (@Fieldof68Freak) who has been tweeting the schedule strength of teams non-conference schedule using last years RPI as the measure. Through 232 schedules that he has looked at Pitt is ranked 79. While that isn't a top 25 schedule it is by no means the awful schedule that most of the local media (and many on here) think it is.
