Syracuse/Miami

Big Ten and SEC are going to get a lot of teams in, but the ACC has no one to blame but themselves. Three teams was there for the taking.

Yeah, Clemson and Miami have no one to blame but themselves.

And sure, Clemson still has a chance. But they close that game out yesterday and they might have been in no matter what happens next week.

Yeah, Clemson can definitely still get in. However, I think that would now be at the expense of SMU getting in, whereas if they had won yesterday then I think both could get in no matter what.

It'd be tough to put SMU in over South Carolina after they just played the same team to opposite results... especially when the latter team did it on the road as opposed to at a neutral location.

If the ACC teams went chalk yesterday, I think SMU and Miami would be guarantees. Clemson I'm not so sure about. I think they'd have needed more help they didn't get, like Georgia, Tennessee, or someone else losing. I don't think they would have quite leapfrogged Ohio State.

I know we can play the weak schedule card with a lot of teams, but none of the contenders are quite as bad as Clemson. Pitt is their signature win, and the only team they beat with a winning record.

I never said that the B10 wasn't getting 4 teams in. I asked if it was silly to do so.

The SEC will not get 2 3-loss teams in over 2-loss Miami.

They absolutely will. Miami is out. You cant put 2 loss Miami with 0 quality wins over 3 loss Alabama.

If Georgia loses, there will absolutely be two 3-loss SEC teams ahead of Miami. They've already said they're not going to penalize teams for losing in conference championship games. And South Carolina will almost certainly be ahead of Miami Tuesday. At that point, NCPitt will say he meant something else, so it's not even worth debating with him.
You clearly can't read.
