This is has been a veritable wasteland of basketball talent over the last 25 years. Few really high end kids, few even decent kids, not even that many "meh" kids. But is it changing?

You got Robby Carmody already committed to Notre Dame and looks like the best 2G to come out of the area in some time.

We all know Ethan Morton who is a top 50 PG in the Sophomore class at Butler. The Mitchell kids from is it Elizabeth Forward who is prepping somewhere, but apparently is a P5 level talent. Brandon Stone is rapidly rising up the charts, a 6'11" stretch 4 now playing at a prep school in North Carolina who will play on the P5 level (hopefully Pitt).

Some others. Westinghouse has a legit 6'11" Center, with an NBA body James Ellis, who is raw, and likely his grades will cause him to go Prep or JuCo, but definitely another kid to watch.

I saw a kid from Highlands who is 6'7"-6'8" Sophomore, who can jump through the gym and he can shoot 3's, and is developing in Johnny Crise.

There are a few more that escapes me, but is talent in this region on an upswing? I am not saying it will be Philly, but I am saying you maybe seeing a couple of high D1 players a year over the next few years which is much better than over the past decades.

Matt? Anyone else??
