As evidenced by my tardiness at chiming in on other topics over here, I've been too preoccupied lately to do much internetting, but this news out of Philadelphia (which has been brewing for a few days now) is a stunner. The pro-stadium President at my other alma mater suddenly finds himself under fire (literally) over some unrelated matters and is expected to be dismissed shortly, This can't be good for the proposed campus stadium. I just hope that the Board of Trustees doesn't go back to the days of David Adamany (every time I type the man's name, I do so with revulsion), who did everything he could to kill Temple football when he was President (which wasn't all that long ago) because he felt it to be antithetical to the purpose of a university.
