My family and I made the long drive from Oklahoma to the Pitt game Saturday. We appreciated very much the hospitality and friendliness of everyone we ran into before, during and after the game. It didn't go unnoticed.

We always enjoy walking around an opposing team's campus to soak in the atmosphere prior to a big game...wish Pitt had a stadium on campus. With that being, said the atmosphere and beauty of our walk from the hotel to the stadium was fantastic. The weather was great, the walk was beautiful up and down the river, people boating etc. Couldn't have asked for a better experience from our end.

Thanks again.

All the OSU fans I saw were cool. Didn't rub it in too much either.

Saw one guy walking with his family. Some drunk yinzer hangs aht his buddies car door screaming at Ok St fans "boooo Cowboys.....Go Pitt....booooo cowboys"

The OK St guy who had maybe a seven year old kid, looks at the kid and says joyfully "he is talking trash. Give it to him back. Say -- go Cowboys!"

Little kid yells 'go cowboys'. Drunk yinzer cracks a smile and keeps booing.

It wound up being a fun exchange. Guy could have told our fan to eff off after his team rolled us. But he made it a fun moment for the kid, and for this PITT fan watching

Mrs Buffett and I had a ton of fun after the game with OSU and PITT fans at our post game bar. We purchased rounds of drinks, the OSU people purchased rounds of drinks, we ate , drank, danced, and eventually somehow made it back to our hotels ( thanks for hotels) to somehow wake up the next morning with limited recollection of the previous day! Bad for OSU fans good for PITT fans!
