What happened? I can't imagine anyone would have fodder for criticism after yesterdays beat down.
There is constructive criticism and then there is bitching all of the time. I don't mind valid criticism but the constant pitt bashing without ever posting something positive just gets old
I do think Pitt Poker and TD are Pitt fans but just the self-hating kind. Its ok to be negative. I make my share of negative posts, but there is a difference between making negative posts and being negative literally 100 percent of the time. That said, Steel Curtain annoys me just as much with his over the top positivity. He's just as bad as the other 2.
Poker is just a chicken little but TD is a complete stooge. He's guzzled more dominator jizz than any nit fan I know.
Great game. Words cannot express how happy I am that Pitt did not allow Duke to get their 2nd ACC victory of the year at Heinz Field on Saturday.

Saturday was Pitt's largest victory margin in November since 1982. There is nothing worthwhile to bitch about. The Panthers have taken two steps forward when it counts.
You don't think the first portion of your post has a negative jab in it? It would have been positive or humane for you to say Pitt got their 4th ACC win and stop there, but you have to throw the negative crap about Duke not getting their 2nd ACC victory. What you're saying are true facts, but people like you always have to get some type of negative comment into your post. It didn't need to be said IF you are a real Pitt fan.
It wasn't a negative jab. It was a condescending tone because it's nuts to expect anybody to come on here heaping praise on "great coaching" and "great players" after a game against an opponent that Pitt should win against comfortably.

Hey, I totally agree. I just find it amusing to see how the slightest hint of criticism or whatever can send a few of our posters over the edge, and I like to have some fun with that on occasion.
Do you mind listing the other teams that have beaten Duke comfortably this season? I'll wait...

As long as you apply this same reasoning across the board? I have seen many posts from you defending Franklin at Vandy winning against teams that using this same barometer, "sucked". But somehow in that scenario you defended his wins. Consistency?

These haven't exactly been the glory years of Pitt football, but did you know that going back to Wanny's last year, Pitt has played in as many bowl games as Vandy has in the history of their program?
Consistency has nothing to do with it. Do you get the concept of how beating a crappy Kentucky basketball team in the NIT is a huge accomplishment for Bobby Mo, but as a Pitt fan, it would suck to miss the NCAA tourney? Or at Pitt, a finish in the Top 10 would be a great accomplishment yet at Alabama it would be considered a throw away season?
Truth hurts some of these sheep. It was a good win, this Sat is a big chance to get us a better bowl I believe. We should be 10-1 if you ask me right now, can that be talked about here, or is that against the narrative?

And against a Power 5 conference opponent. Absolutely not a damn thing to criticize about that performance.

Different logic is used in different situations. I don't always look at things just from Pitt's point of view and instead look at things just as a fan of the game. I think that might throw a few people off.
That's fine. We all don't have to agree with each other. But you have to expect posters here who will call you out, that's all. Sometimes getting through a season as a Pitt fan is hard enough without our "own" dragging us down.
